Frequently Asked Questions
"What is the difference between Stained Glass and Fused Glass?"

Fused glass involves layering and melting different colored pieces of glass together in a kiln to create a single, solid piece, which then can be slumped into different shapes like vases, or plates. Stained glass uses pre-colored glass pieces that are cut to size and then joined together with copper foil and solder to form a design. In essence, fused glass creates a unified artwork, while stained glass relies on assembling individual colored pieces.
